Cathodic protection - Certification of personnel

Many Clients are starting to require that personnel involved with the design, installation, operation, maintenance and monitoring of cathodic protection systems for reinforced and prestressed concrete structures should be accredited in accordance with BS EN 15257, Competence levels and certification of cathodic protection personnel, or are similarly qualified and experienced.

In the UK the Institute of Corrosion (www.icorr.org) implements BS EN 15257 and provides training, assessment and certification of cathodic protection personnel covering Level 1 (technician) to Level 3 (cathodic protection expert).
