Testing self compacting concrete:Sieve segregation test

The Sieve segregation test to BS EN 12350-11 is used to assess the resistance of self-compacting concrete to segregation

- Allow 10 ± 0.5litres concrete to stand for 15 ± 0.5min
- Pour 4.8 ± 0.2kg of sample through 5mm sieve from a height of 500 ± 50mm
- Allow sieve to stand for 120 ± 5sec
- Segregated Portion (SR) is percentage passed through sieve
