Decorative concrete floors

There are many decorative finishes that can be achieved on concrete floors - direct polish, diamond ground and polished, stained etc. Many domestic floors also incorporate under-floor heating systems laid within the concrete on insulation. There are a few pitfalls that can lead to cracking and perhaps a disapointing outcome. Consideration needs to be given to floor thickness, joint layout and panel size.
