Chain sawing & chain plunge sawing

These machines are a development of the standard wood chain saw and are either hydraulically or petrol powered. However they employ a chain fitted with diamond segments.

They are very useful for cutting window and doorway openings in brick and blockwork, because straight lines can be cut with right angled corners, thereby eliminating over cutting.

They can be operated hand-held or track/rail mounted, and normally cut up to 600mm deep.
