Ribbed floor elements (BS EN)
The requirements for precast ribbed elements made from reinforced or prestressed normal weight concrete, used in floors or roofs, are given in:
BS EN 13224: Precast concrete products – Ribbed floor elements.
Examples of the cross-sections of elements considered in this Standard include single and double tees, boxes and troughs. They may be designed with or without a structural topping.
