Precast concrete street furniture and garden products are covered by:
BS EN 13198: 2003, Precast concrete products – Street furniture and garden products.
It is intended for non-structural products and accessories for use in public and private areas such as gardens, parks, footpaths and squares, essentially for landscaping without being subjected to loads from vehicle traffic. Examples include benches, seats, tables, plant containers, litter bins and bollards. The standard does not cover load-bearing products such as paving units, kerbs, fences etc.
