Specifying ready-mixed concrete
In order to purchase a concrete from a ready-mixed concrete supplier, or other provider, the requirements of the concrete need to be specified. BS 8500 - Concrete provides guidance via a suite of concrete classifications for all applications. These concretes are proprietary, prescribed, standard prescribed, designed and designated.
