Mix design assessment
Mixing can be carried out on a small scale (a few litres in a laboratory) through to 6000 litres at a ready mixed concrete or site batch plant. The basic principles are the same, just the scale of the operation is different.
Assessment of the constituents and the final mix characteristics in both the hardened and fresh form is paramount for the suitablity of the concrete in service.
