Pipes and drainage (BS)

BS 5911, Precast concrete pipes, fittings and ancillary products.

Part 1, Specification for unreinforced and reinforced concrete pipes, (including jacking pipes) and fittings with flexible joints
Part 3, Specification for unreinforced and reinforced concrete manholes and soakaways
Part 4, Specification for unreinforced and reinforced concrete inspection chambers
Part 5, Specification for prestressed non-pressure pipes and fittings with flexible joints.
Part 6, Specification for road gullies and gully cover slabs

and many other parts.

BS EN 1916 and BS EN 1917 [see Pipes and drainage (BS EN)] are running in parallel with BS 5911, which they will eventually replace. Note that some parts of BS 5911 have not yet been covered by an equivalent BS EN. In the meantime some parts of BS 5911 are being renumbered and reissued (e.g. BS 5911 Part 230 was replaced by BS 5911 Part 6 in 2004).
