Standards and codes

The tests associated with the materials used in concrete and on the fresh and hardened concrete are covered by British Standards (to be replaced in due course by European Standards) and other regulations that cover health and safety.

This helps to ensure that standard methods of testing are used throughout he industry so that results from different sources are comparable.
