Concrete in cold weather

This morning Technical Seminar aims to provide guidance on the practical and theoretical aspects of preventing damage to concrete during cold weather conditions.

The event is designed to offer an insight for engineers, supervisors, students and technicians with the focus upon realistic design and site preventative measures for concreting in cold weather. It covers both early age ‘frost’ and long term ‘freeze-thaw’ damage mechanisms.

The day begins with registration at 09:45am and will close at approximately 12:30pm with short breaks between sessions. Joining instructions will be provided on confirmation.
