In these times of acknowledged environmental effects of industry and the effect on CO2 levels in the atmosphere it is important that we all take measures to reduce this impact on the planet we call home. Recent developments in cement technology have shown that the use of alkali-activated cements in concrete could have a beneficial effect in the reduction of CO2 emissions.
